EXPERIENCE CHANGE WITH A SUBTLE DIFFERENCE

We're here, we're queer, we're... ready to face our fears?

Ever since I was a young child, I’ve been passionate about helping people be healthy and happy. I believe every person is the expert in their own life, and ultimately has the power to transform their own experiences. I strive to help people gain access to the tools and opportunities they need to live their life fully, richly, and happily, not feeling trapped or stuck.

So many times we find ourselves not doing what ultimately serves us – maybe because what we’re doing used to work but doesn’t anymore, or because we were never taught the skills we need to succeed. I believe that when we turn our energy towards accepting and celebrating ourselves, and genuinely believing that we can make a difference in our own lives, we are right!

Different people need different things out of therapy, and our sessions belong to you – I’m flexible to work with you the way you need. I commonly do mindfulness work, solution focused therapy, reflection and reframing, focus on interpersonal and communication skills especially in regards to boundaries, psychoeducation, and cognitive reframing.

Their glasses are cateye shaped and iridescent rainbow colored. They have a beard, a septum piercing, and a Medusa piercing. Some of their tattoos are partially visible on their arms.

My Therapeutic Style

I draw inspiration from a variety of therapeutic techniques, primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Work.

I work with a wide range of populations, but am particularly passionate about working with LGBT individuals, people who are struggling with emotional regulation, anxiety, and depression, people with personality disorders, and couples seeking relationship counseling.

At this time I'm only offering virtual sessions. I also do not take insurance, instead opting to provide extreme sliding scale based on what you feel you're able to pay. If my standard fee is not doable for you, don't worry about it - we will work together to figure out something functional that won't contribute to your financial anxiety.
